His parents were Essenes, a strict ascetic branch of the Hebrew Faith during those times which dwelt together in Holy Fellowship in the outskirts of the main cities and as a United Brotherhood nearly identical in many ways to the traditional Pythagoreans and Pythagorean “Philosophical” Brotherhood (Ancient Esoteric Skilled-Craft Guild of the First Hellenic “Wisdom Lovers” who followed the teachings of the Grand Master Pythagoras, Son of Apollo (Incarnate), Lord of Light (the “Sun God”, Lord of Prophecy and Gnostic Illumination) who taught them the practice of Communion (Devotion) to LOGOS, the “Lost Word” of Freemasonry, the Divine Harmony and Divine Proportion out of which Reason (Mathematical ratios and “rationing” out of time and space) is born and Self-Created.

Although their cultus was recognized by the name “Pythagorean” owing to the name of its First Father (First Born of the Delphi (Brotherhood) Temple whose “Pythias” Priestess (Serpent Mother) who held the Office of Holy Vessel of the “Voice of Apollo” (namely his ORACLE) where Divine Prophecies were received and given to those on pilgrim who brought sacrificial offerings in exchange for the “Word of Apollo” which was revealed to the Pythias (The Wise One) Virgin (Pure Young Maiden) as was her Station unto all of Greece during those days, and was highly honored and respected across the known (civilized) world); the word “Pythagorean” was later also understood to be synonymous with our current word “vegetarian”.

Owing unto His great humility the Great Master Pythagoras himself was the first coined the term “philosopher” in humility claiming Wisdom to belong to God “(THEON”) alone, and himself but a “Lover” (Philia) of “Wisdom” (Sophos) and thereby a Lover of all things Divine, Wisdom being the Chief Virtue unto which everyman (and woman), seeking Goodness, should forever strive.

Pythagoras Himself strictly recommended and required all those seeking initiation as apprentice neophytes (learners) who were called as Acustakoi (“Listeners”) in the first School of Philosophy, and First Greek University known to the Classical West, the Pythagorean Mystery School of Crotona, and all Pythagoreans from its early origins were required to maintain a strict vegetarian diet all throughout life, as non-violence and purity of mind and body were essential tenants of the Pythagorean Way of Life which is the Way of the Philosopher, or Wisdom Lover (of Old); whose chief aim in the Life of the Pythagorean was to Seek Knowledge and Truth above all things, and tend namely to matters of the Soul (which was held to be immortal) over and above the body (which is but a “tomb” in which the immortal soul temporarily slept as was also taught by the Orphic Mysteries which in many ways was the ancient and unspoken (secret society) cultus which laid down its lines as precursor to Pythagoreanism (into which Pythagoras was able to naturally adapt his new Form of Teachings and method (of instruction) whose fundamental Teaching itself is referred to as “Neo-Orphism” just as the Alexandrian Platonists Plotinus, Iamblichus, Porphyry, Proclus, and Hypatia (the Last of the Great Ancient Philosophers to be raised up and trained within Plato’s Academy in Athens) were later called “Neo-Platonists” and “Neo-Platonism” is what we call the philosophers (wisdom lovers) who at that time were understood simply as “Platonists”, but whom scholars later categorized as “New Platonists” since they represented the School and its Teachings at the end of its 500 year lifespan opposite to Plato who founded the School after devoting himself to Socrates as a child and fulltime unto Philosophy (after Socrate’s death by Hemlock sentenced by common courts and a local jury of which assembly Plato himself witnessed as a young man).

Socrates being an Operative “Free-Mason” (by trade which was taught to him by his biological father) and skilled laborer of the art of stonework which allowed him to earn his humbly livelihood by honest labor which freed his mind to explore all avenues of Truth, seeking Wisdom from His very childhood, yet never binding himself to any Oath or Obligation as was required by those initiates of the local Mysteries of Eleusis which was said to teach its candidates the Secrets of Nature and give the Knowledge of Life After Death to those who swore oaths of Secrecy and Silence (as discussed) concerning everything which they may be shown and taught during their initiation rites which were performed twice annually to any who earnestly requested admittance and participated in both the “Lesser” as well as “Greater” Mysteries which were given in two separate Pageants whose ceremonies were revered and venerated all across Athens each season whose whole city would participate in to some degree whether initiated or not (which most citizens were by their middle age as the Eleusian Mysteries were part of the Social Custom and represented the culture’s Social Religion to which formed the basis of their society and lifestyle as well as reverence for the Divine.

These Sacred Pageants formed the basis of all the Hellenic Mystery Religions, each baring its own “flavor” and its own “secret” and most all requiring oaths of secrecy unto death for all who became “mystes” or “Initites” of the Mysteries, both the Lesser, and then the Greater as the first taught of terrestrial (earthly things), and the Greater of Celestial or Spiritual matters).

The Death of the Beloved One (Socrates) whom Delphi Oracle proclaimed as the Wisest Man on Earth (most surprising to Socrates himself when He found out, believing Himself to be the “most ignorant” man on earth, owing to the fact that “He Knew Nothing” and so in desiring to know “Something” he sought wisdom all his life and inquired innocently unto Everyman which whom He encountered all through life with many questions in hopes to “discover something” owing to His total lack of any real comprehension True Knowledge itself or as to the Meaning of Truth or the Nature of Reality or of the Immortality of His own Soul, which he earnestly believed to be true, but desired further understanding as to this Immortal Part of Himself known as the Soul “Psyche” and owing to the Old Legend where Psyche and Eros (Soul and Love) unite in secret, but wherein Psyche desires to see the “Face” of her Beloved (who she did not know was the God “Love” Himself with whom she enjoyed each night by darkness), so too Socrates too wished to become a “Lover” (philia) of “Wisdom” “Sophia” and to learn what it was which Pythagoras used to teach to His students directly before His Mystery School (University) was burnt down, and His followers (disciples who were vegetarians who knew and practiced (developed) through lifelong study and discipline, the Art(s) of Mathematics, Geometry, Gymastics, Music, and Harmonics (“The Music of the Spheres”) whose complete Knowledge (as taught by the Master and made to practice in silence with full attention in order to attain any progress in “Philosophy” itself) was “Way of Life” which like the “Tao” (or “Way”) of “Taoism” which were the Teachings of Lau-Tsu from China whom Pythagoras met during His travels and whose essential elements match perfectly with the Pythagorean Doctrines, differing only in Form and Style of delivery as well as language (Chinese) whose temperaments and social customs differed from those of the Greeks, and thereby required a Similar Master who could match the needs and learning style of his people to whom He showed by example how “Taoism” (The Way of Life which leads to Harmony with Nature and Eternal Happiness) must be Practiced by attuning ones Soul to Nature, and becoming “One” with Nature which is “Tau”, and so “Nature’s Own Way” was the Way of Life sought by the “Taoist” in China and owing to Pythagoras exposure to Taoism and to Lau-Stu whom He played homage and reverence as He did to each of the Ancient Traditions in their Highest Teachings available unto each Civilization during the time of his World Pilgrimage and long journey home by which He could Practice the Way ALL THE WAY Home and reflect and assimilate all He had studied and learnt into a way most Natural to His own People, the Hellenes, whom He gave in the form of Symbols, and Mathematical precepts given both Visually (by the eyes) and Audibly) by the ears over many years keeping the Tongue in Silence unless called upon to Sing, which was also taught, but not until fundamental knowledge of String Theory and Ratio Harmonics could be fully digested and demonstrated via the Lyre or 7 Stringed Harp which the Disciples of the Second Degree of Initiation (Mathamatikoi) had developed the Skill to “Show” Geometry and Mathematical Harmonies by themselves “Tuning” their own Hand Crafted Lyres in Harmony with Nature’s Divine Art of Geometry which taught of the spaces (or ratios) between each measure and “metered” out upon the Scale or Pattern which was first shown with pebbles upon the sand and visualized, then brought forth from Nature and cast into Form and Structure by the plucking of various strings made to resonate in the “Ideal Patterns” provided by Nature Herself through Rational Harmonics whose practical knowledge and skill was first attained by Orpheus, the God of the Ancient Mystery Cult which Pythagoras “Revived” by bringing back the Lyre into Greek Culture which was the Divine Instrument of Orpheus Himself who the Greeks deemed as one of those Ancient Gods (The Deathless Immortals) who incarnated into Human Form every now and again to bring New Light and New Mysteries (Secret Teachings) unto Humanity.

The Knowledge of the Ancient Mysteries was commonly understood (though not spoken of outwardly and in plain speech for to do so would risk death in those times owing to the Nature of the Revelation presented forth by the Ancient Hierophants to their candidates who did take up the Oath of Silence in exchange for what they were permitted to Reveal unto the ancient seekers eager to discover Gnosis or Divine Knowledge and insight, and so even claiming to know what the Mysteries Revealed would be to risk terrible forms of persecution and personal condemnation and distain by all the world at large, not necessarily by the Hierophants who bound them to their oaths before God and man, who would more likely watch in Silence themselves should one of their neophytes (learners) speak amongst “The Profane” (those who remained uninitiated and unacquainted with any of the Knowledge pertaining to “Their Own Essential Nature” which is Divine itself, akin to God, yet cloaked in material form called “Soma” (the body) which is “Sema” (a tomb).

So every Mystery Cult (Religion) had its Birth and Establishment after the coming of one of the Deathless Gods into the Human Birth, fully Divine by Divine Birthright, and often Pre-Ordained unto Seers and Soothsayers even before their “Heavenly Arrival” in the form of some miraculous Birth or supernatural occurrence which led to their coming forth into Human Form yet retaining their “God-Like” features which came in various forms (or Virtues) for which they were known to represent and recommend unto humanity through their own appearance as Incarnation of these Divine Virtues or Powers such as Divine Beauty (Eros or Cupid), Godlike Strength (Heracles), Wisdom (Athena), Prophecy (Light of Apollo), and Harmony or Grace (Orpheus). Orpheus and Dionysus were the most prominently “worshiped” gods incarnate as humans, and even as Orpheus came to subdue the passions of Wild Nature Untamed through the beautiful harmonic melodies and chords which He displayed in His Mastery of the Lyre and the Magickal Art of Musicka which granted its Skilled Adepts the Power to Tame Wild Beasts and Subdue angry mobs (even putting them to sleep) as well as inspire Courage, and Strength though Dorian “warsongs” or to confuse or make one forget by scattering the Notes across the Scale in such a way, that their frequencies actually interrupt the mind and the intellectual forces of any victim of such a spell who has not mastery over their own self enough to dispel the enchantments cast forth by the skilled Musician, a “Magician” in his own right or even Sorcerer should such power be used to create bad omens or to curse or disrupt without Cause or without Justice, in which case, the result according to the Orphic School, and no doubt the Pythagoreans who held Orpheus to be the Ancient form of Pythagoras who had returned for their continued guidance and instruction, such use of Powers of Knowledge either in Geometry or in Harmonics which if applied to Musicka does grant one the abilities to change another person’s “Essential Nature” at any given moment, and essentially “Cast Spells” over the lives of others by altering their fundamental frequencies and retuning “the strings of their soul” according to their own desire by choice of any one of the Songs which might lead one to passion and violence or to ignorance and forgetfulness, or to sleep, slumber, and neglect, or otherwise unto noble deed or righteous action accordingly, and so the School of Crotona was known to be very selective in admitting new candidates as well as took many years to observe the students own mind and temperament and only teach unto him or her what they were deemed “ready” to handle in that whatever would be taught unto them, it should only be used onto the acquisition of Virtue and Human Goodness and towards the upliftment of humankind as well as the purification of their own soul, which was the Primary Goal of the entire Orphic and Pythagorean system of both Ancient (Mythic/Cultic) and Classical (Academic/Rational) eras.

So what was “Tao” to the Chinese by the “Way” of Lau-Tsu, the wandering monk, was likewise “Philosophy” to the Greeks which was Pythagoreanism Incognito and taught in a reformed method fit for the Athenian mind by both Socrates and Plato yet each in their own “Way” or method which they adopted in their own unique as individual “Links” in the Golden Chain of Precious Philosophy which like all the Great Traditions of Discipline Succession of Spiritual Knowledge such as the Sufi Saints Shamz Tabriz and Mulani Rumi, Lau-Tsu and Confucious, John the Baptist and Jesus Christ, Elisha and Eliza, the Sant Kabir and Guru Nanak, was forged by some Master Himself, and Adept capable of dispensing of “Gnosis” (Divine Knowledge) in both Theoretical and Practical manner(s) which are able to be understood and adopted and later distinguished and discovered by the rest of the world or by the rest of the successors in this Academic, Spiritual, or Philosophic Tradition (and perhaps later enjoyed throughout history in the form of some written collection of words and stories left by one or more of the early Adepts who established some Mystery or School, Rite or Religion, Cult or Sect, or Simple Way of Life which is most Natural for the Human Condition and Best fit for Humankind to receive the highest form of Happiness both here as well as hereafter, which is the True Claim of every Path or Priory which presents itself in the Form of Truth which is the Best Form it was given to Grasp whether it be some Tribal Cult filled with primitive superstitions and orgiastic frenzies or otherwise some well established hierarchy such as today’s Outer World Religions whose Gigantic Churches, and Cathedrals, Temples and Mosques, Synagogues and Shrines which line the cities and townships of Nation upon Nation; and religion in some form or another exists and gives forth its best effort to give unto humanity something beneficial by offering the world the best it has in terms of Life’s Essential Doctrines which are given out to help improve the human condition and inspire faith in the heart to become good by one or another method as taught or recommended by every Church Leader in every Religion both now and in Ancient Days; as man is ever fit to improve himself (herself) by whatever tools it is offered and taught to apply owing to the nature of the times, and the temperament of the human condition in any given time, place, culture, or civilization.

Philosophers, being “Lovers” primarily who have aimed their affection wholeheartedly towards that ONE GREAT THING which they see as MOST BEAUTIFUL (and thereby worthy of Love) is the Quality or Virtue which is Most Divine, and thereby Closest to Truth, that which is Eternal and thereby containing all the Virtues of Strength, and Beauty, and Temperence (Balance and Harmony / Perfect Moderation); because Wisdom is that Quality which Rules all the other Virtues by setting them in their proper place in Right Proportion with Nature’s Own Laws of Geometric Spaces between notes, strings, planets, suns, stars, Galaxies, which comprise the Whole (Tone) Uni-Verse, the Grand Cosmos which Pythagoras discovered MUST have Harmony and REASON behind the placement of every part unto the Pattern of the Whole which is made to Whirl or OSSILATE like a Vortex creating SOUND, which He called “Music of the Spheres, and gave its Overall Structure a name representing both Totality as well as Divine Proportion and Deathless Self-Cause and “Super-Natural” (Divine) Self-Regeneration and the NAME of this FORM or IDEA which was considered MOST DIVINE (in its entirety), He and all philosophical, mathematical, geometrical, Architectual, astronomical, and harmonical Schools prior to Himself and His Establishment knew this ONE GREAT THING by the NAME of TO LOGOS, the WORD, the DIVINE PROPORTION, THE GOLDEN PROPORTION, GOLDEN ANGLE, ARCHE (ORIGIN), and FORM OF THE GOOD.

So by the time of Socrates grand arrival upon the open streets of Athens some hundred years after the Pythagoreans (proper) went in to a form of hiding and assimilated into common culture and common life while maintaining their “philosophy” (which to them was more of a religion as well as disciplined self-science, or WAY OF LIFE as is the Path of Philosophy probably best described as was “THE TAO”), in the form of vegetarianism primarily, as this was for many centuries the primary factor which distinguished “the philosopher” from any other man or any other form of self-distinguished identity, although the distinguishment was far more in the heart of the True Pythagorean, for vegetarianism was simply a prime prerequisite that one must undergo in the care and maintenance of their diet and physiology to even begin their studies or their new lifestyle (of Harmonizing with Nature’s Way and discovering Nature’s Secrets which may lead to Perfect Happiness) which was that by Uniting the Soul with the LOGOS Itself, the Light, the Truth, the FORM OF THE GOOD which is Divine and Everlasting and which was later symbolized (and perhaps prior too, yet secretly) as “THE SUN’, or SOURCE of Light and Illumination as well as Life and of Love, for warmth is the quality which it is always made to radiate in all directions, and only to GIVE, never taking back any of its LIFEFORCE or RAYS which provide all means and ways for life to thrive all across every corner of earth regardless of what outer form or outer quality which might appear before it, the Same Light Shines in equal opportunity for anyone to receive should they open their eyes and receive its Rays find some way to improve upon their life by UTILZING the Gift of the Sun and its light to improve life and increase happiness for self and others here below, and ultimately to understand the ESOTERIC (Hidden) TRUTHS behind these outer metaphors which are but “REFLECTIONS” of HIGHER DEGREES of HARMONIC GRACE (TONALITY) the Highest of which is “THE GOOD” itself, the TO LOGOS which in the ARCHE (undefined and dimensionless origin point) it ALWAYS EXISTED AND ALWAYS EXIST, and so this LOGOS, this Beautiful, Divine, Perfect Ratio of RATIONAL Harmonic Frequencies of LIGHT and SOUND, the “Music of the Spheres” was the “GOD” of the Pythagoreans and early Greek Philosophers as well as the early Christians whose Gospel of John explains this very precept in simple Greek in its very opening stanzas: “In the ARCHE (Beginning) was the LOGOS (Word), and the LOGOS was with THEON (God), and the LOGOS WAS THEON (or Divine). So the Word, the TO LOGOS SOLARIS (The Golden Angle of the Sun), becomes MAN (incarnates AS GOD), and the LOGOS is made Flesh and Dwells amongst US (on earth) which is essentially the Secret Doctrine of all the Ancient Mysteries which was SHOWN to its candidates by some ancient method known only to the Priests and Hierophants whom it is believed had the Knowledge of both Alchemy (the sublimation of base {dark and heavy} metals into rare and refined {light and pure) form} and “Pharmacology” (The Knowledge of Sacred Plants and their Chemical and Medicinal Compositions).

And so it was through these two ancient “pre-historic” sciences (pre ‘written’ history) that the Mysteries were practically and scientifically “revealed” to candidates seeking to understand the Secrets of Nature, and these two “Sacred Sciences” were the Secrets which the Hierophants and Priests were most sworn to protect, for they compose of the knowledge of metal (technology) and the knowledge of plants (food and medicine) and whoever held these Keys in ancient days (and modern no less) holds the Keys to the Planetary Hierarchy of Divine Rule for in knowing how to manipulate the essential elements within nature to create change according to the design “mixing the potion”, one may be sure to strengthen or destroy either friend or enemy alike as well as acquire knowledge of “Science” which if known creates the ultimate advantage over all creatures ignorant of the power behind one’s ability to UTILIZE Nature by one’s OWN design, fixing a series of experiments and procedures according to a schedule metered out on a timeline and measured by the distance of the stars in their rotations.

If there were only 3 to 10 people on earth in Ancient Day who knew even half of those things as compared to the rest who (besides the Egyptians) were running around on two feet each day gathering wood by hand and fish by spear or by invading other villages or cultures and overpowering through brute force the strength of one’s neighbors establishment so that the strong may take and eat what he likes, and kill or rape if he desires which was the base nature of the “profane” (unpurified / uninitiated man) in those days, and even today to some extent, or perhaps on large scale, owing to the fact that only few strict vegetarians remain, and so global war still commences, only that some of those profane must have clearly “stolen the secrets” which allowed them an understanding over metals by use of fire and forge, and later by electromechanical and electronic engineering which for the Pythagorean would be used to build ships to fly to the heavens and explore the suns of other galaxies and study nature deeper for one’s own eternal quest, whereas “THE PROFANE” which Ancient Philosophy defines as “those who drink wine and eat the flesh of animals and other beasts” (who are more like them than any other creature), except he be his friend or neighbor, which the ignorant beast in the mere “garb of a man” (having never taken up the cross and given up the desires and passions of animal life which is selfish and tends towards violence and cruelty), not knowing himself to be God, or Godlike in that Man possesses a soul which will always exist and will have to reconcile all of its actions my measure of Justice which is seen in the Scales of Harmony and explained by the Hierophant who knows which plants will remove the dirt and toxins from ones blood and bile, open up the inner pathways which link the currents of magnetic currents and etheric waveforms back into the upper part of the body, and into the head, the most sacred part of the body, and so in “purifying” the Holy temple through alchemy (transmutation of base elements in the form of dirt, toxins, foul animalistic hormonal secretions, desire towards violence which is also an animal response to fear of death), which through the assistance of various plants, herbs, teas, tonics, and poisons even, all these things are slowly removed physically, by vomiting out and purging through the outer orifice of every element which does not fit higher life of spiritual man which dull his consciousness and weaken his abilities towards self-control (over his mind and his desires); and so it was once said (by some ‘fortunate’ breach of Silence and Secrecy which made its way to a historian’s pen after thousands of years of unspoken, unwritten tradition at Eleusis Sacred Pageants and Underground Ceremonial Ritual Purifications) that during those “Initiations” which one is made to take oaths of silence before one even enters the Entrance to the Gates of Eleusis and Her Great Mysteries (under penalty of pain and death most severe!) and keep Secret ALL THINGS which they may have revealed unto them during their Rite of Initiation into Demeter’s Secrets of Life and Death (and Rebirth) each Spring; it was all the while written centuries down the track from our Pythagorean and Plotinic foundations, when the Mysteries were beginning to “wind down” themselves as the “Christ Event” churned up new patriarchs of high tyrannical form and structure, forbidding things it feared or didn’t understand and condemning them as evil and hence “forbidden”. 🤫

All the while there was a commentary on the “Experience” which the initiates undergo when in the dark caverns after drinking the “Kakion” poison out of some sacred cups which was the Holy Sacrament of the Eleusinian Mysteries which was given to candidates before they entered the “dark places of wisdom” and received the “Knowledge of the Underworld” which was to feel what it is like to “DIE” as well as go through the same pain and ecstasy which the Soul is made to experience at the time of death as well as what it is made to Know about the Beyond (the Afterlife) and so the condition of those who had received the rite and were undergoing these ceremonial “purifications” was that the Neophytes would be seen flailing around on the floor covered in darkness with but a few specks of light shining through from above where the decent into the “Underworld” was made to begin showing now only a few rays and specks of outer illumination drawn in from above.

And in this condition in the cold dark deep, they would sweat and scream and shiver and go into convulsions and essentially undergo terrible fevers which was understood as the Soul becoming “purified” from the confines of fleshy tomb, the body, and preparing to enter Hades where it would “behold all manner of Mysterious Things” which still to this day cannot be spoken of, but whose essential “Secret Doctrines” which were the common set of beliefs or understandings (concerning “ontology”) which the Citizens of Athens basically accepted which are hinted at in the various Dramas, Plays, Lyrical Poems, Architectural Styles, common pageants, and cultural appeal which we find when we study the 3rd and 4th centuries of Athens, as well as down through the early Centuries of the Common Era (A.D.) which does tend to Disguise Demeter and Persephone as well as the lessons of Nature’s cycles of Birth and Death and of Rebirth each Spring as well as of theological and mythic themes such as “DIVINE JUSTICE” as shown in THE BACCHAE by Euripides or the “Folly of Wisdom” in Aristophanes “THE CLOUDS” which humorously showcases Socrates as a “Mad Sophist” (teacher of common rhetoric where students hoped to learn how to make “weak arguments sound stronger” and “Strong arguments sound weaker” the better to secure political gains and security for friends and family while destroying ones common enemies with wordplay popularly grasped only by deceitful politicians in hopes of some gains.

Of course, Socrates was none of these, but the Theatre was one of the Age Old Venues where things could be looked at from opposite perspective as if into some mirror universe which in some sense, the Underworld most definitely seems to represent in the collective mind of the Athenian Culture.

Almost every outstanding popular figure as well as historical artist or poet which still is in our written records was a member, a Mystes of the Mysteries of the Eleusis and the City State knew what it knew and understood what it needed from performing this Ancient Pagent each fall and spring, and although one could “participate” in the Full Initiation Rite and Holy Sacrament of “Kakion” offered forth during one’s sojourn into the darkness of the Greater Mysteries only ONCE as this was meant to be a “Once in a lifetime experience” so that one would be assured as to the immortality of the soul, the continuity of existence in life after death, the rebirth of the soul in some new form or new manner was never explained fully, although re-incarnation was commonly accepted as well as formerly taught in the Pythagorean tradition (and likely Orphic too) as well as is referenced many times in Plato’s dialogues where the conversation of Socrates and his interlocutor are made to take a turn from Dialectic into Mythos, and Socrates begins explaining things in the form of some “Tale” or “Story” he once heard by some religious person during his youth (or something like that), which “May or may not be true, but is worth considering…” and these myths or allegories which he presents are generally running upon the theme of the Fate of the Soul once it dies (here on earth) and enters upon the Afterlife where all the other immortal souls are seen to be meandering according to what is owed unto them by “Necessity” which is the “Reward of Justice” and generally the Justice system of the afterlife is described as more or less “flawless” which the opposite is the case here below which is but a “shadow of justice” because people here can hide their sins and evil deeds, where as in the “True Courts of Justice” the soul stands naked before the tribunal and does not get any special compensation on account of being rich or famous or otherwise privileged, but the soul is seen for herself “AS SHE IS” and every manner of reward and punishment of equal and opposite measure is applied to every soul for each and every action committed weather they be rewarded for a life of Virtue, or punished for a live of immoderation or Injustice after the “Rewards and Punishments” have been fully dispensed, and the Just are given to see Beautiful Heavenly Delights of Wonderous Natures, and the Injust are made to “roll around in Hades” for some time until the “dross of their soul” which was made impure on account of their bad deeds was finally washed clean by the fires of purgation, and everyone then meets back on a level playing field having been justly rewarded or punished accordingly (over the span of some manner of “Time” which still seems to be going on from that place which Socrates likes to describe as the “Plains” between Hades or Tartarus and the Celestial Lights above in the form of some “Spindel of Necessity” which is always spinning and turning like some series of Whirlpool eddies and which has seven sirens and seven “Harmonies or Circles of the Different” which it sings each spinning the same direction with an 8th “Harmony or Circle of the Same” which regenerates the whole structure in the Form of the Octive and which All Things are made to Return (“TO THE SAME”) after each “Heavenly Rotation” of All the Spheres around their heavenly orbits and which in the Myth of the Phaedrus, we are made to imagine a “Close Up Action Image” of All of the Immortal Souls taking their Heavenly Flight at the end of the “Cosmic Year” wherein all the Souls are given the chance to Fly together in their Horsebound flying chariots and take a Heavenly Flight around the Outer Orbits of the Highest Spheres of the Starry Heavens, at which point, just to give them a moment of Truth (Once in this Great Cycle after many many smaller cycles and rounds of life, death, and rebirth in some form or another by Natures Fair Allotment based on ones actions and efforts towards “The Good”).

So in this moment of Truth which happens it seems as though “In Between Cosmic Creation” as the Souls are all equal now (brought back to Justice and Balanced in their Actions and Re-actions) and as each soul is made to fly past the most outer bend of the furthest orbit from the Earth its head is allowed to pass the Veil of the Celestial Sky and “Peep” Beyond the Veils of Eternity and “Behold Truth Exactly as She Is” for just a moment, and longer depending on one’s own long established Strength and Virtue after many long lifetimes spent in search of Wisdom and Truth and in Philosophy which we later find according to Socrates is in fact “the practice of Death” by keeping one’s attention upon Eternal Ideas and Forms of Goodness which shed higher light and not upon the earthly desires or temporary delights of the body or the mind which grasp at straws which they should be seeking Gold (Immortality, Divine Nature).

Pythagoras Doth Say, “Be Ye Deathless, Immortal, Mortal no More!!”

Above the Two Pillars which Guard the Entrance to the Temple of Delphi where in lies the Oracle and her Chamber of Secrets, it is etched in stone: “Man Know Thyself, and Thou Shalt Know the Universe and its Gods!!”

MAN KNOW THYSELF!!

This Archaic Aphorism is also marked in the Form of Hieroglyphics above the entrance of each temple and lodge serving as an academic and scientific learning center in Ancient Khemet (today known as Egypt)

Plato Himself was said to have travelled to Egypt in search of Her Mysteries as did Pythagoras before Him, and He too established a School of Philosophy (The Academy) which lasted many centuries after its establishment in Athens and was neither terrorized nor molested nor violently destroyed as was Pythagoras Mystery School at Crotona, but was instead highly respected and revered across Hellena (Ancient Greece) as well as abroad, and the Fame of the Plato’s Dialogues and His unique manner of gathering students in Nature’s Gardens and discussing the Teaching of Socrates (and Pythagoras no less in the Form of Dialectic remains one of the longest lasting and time tested traditions and Way (method) of dispensing Philosophy unto the Seekers of Wisdom and Truth as well as Logic and Geometry (mathematics) and highly regarded even today.

So having some knowledge of the True Nature of the Pythagorean Philosophers and of the “purity” which they sought in their earnest effort to “Unite with God (The Good)” and become like That (Divine) LOGOS, The Essenes too were but another branch (within the Hebrew Tradition) of these very self-same Precepts and as such they adopted a “Way of Life” which was guarded as “Secret” in its own Rite, yet described by Josephus, that ancient Jewish Historian who knew the precepts of all three sects of Judaism commonly known during the time of the “Christ Event” when the Master Jesus was said to have performed His Mission in and around Jerusalem which eventually led to His own “Death” and later “Resurrection” which was but another illustration of this Ancient Theme common to all Mystery Religions of those days which established itself upon the story of some Divine Incarnation (“God” in Human Form which the Bible calls “Word Made Flesh”), and which by the 3rd Century AD became the “Common Religion” of all of Europe whose Church was able to quickly and easily merge together and “Unite” all those Old World Mystery Cults which were scattered across EuroAsia in one form or another in to a Single Unified set of Theological Doctrines which we now know as “Christianity”.

But Outer Religions aside, if we look into the Truth as to “Who Jesus Really Was” and what was the “Source” of His own divine Nature and calling (besides the Nativity Story which is only given in the Gospel of Matthew and in which we find no other Source describing His miraculous Virgin Birth (similar to Pythagoras Himself in many ways), we will find many clues as to His early childhood education, and later Spiritual upbringing once we understand that it was the Essenes to whom His parents (Mother and Step-Father) were devoted members of that “Brotherhood” of disciplined ascetics and skilled craftsmen (mostly consisting of “woodworkers” rather than builders of stone which no-less requires the knowledge of Geometry, and the focused attention of many years of apprenticeship under skilled artisans who had already Mastered this trade and who banded together in Guilds (as did the Masons and early Freemasons) such as the Essenes themselves had well established under the Strict Rite of Silence and Service wherein they would spend their time in prayer and purification and in their inner spiritual development which went “hand-in-hand” with their honest labor which they used to support the Brotherhood and their own families no less, and whose earnings were made “clean” by constant sacrifice and “penance” through prayer and fasting and strict desert lifestyle which forbade the eating of flesh food (meat) and the drinking of wine (intoxicants).

And so growing up in the Essene community, the “Nazarene Master” (as He is often described as “Nazarene” was but another term for “Essene” and was applied to the local area wherein Essenes were known to earn their livelihood and practice their devotions and prayers in peace and solitude outside the general worldly wanderings of the city folk and the Scribes and Pharisees who ran their Temples and their Priesthoods as successful forms of business and enterprise, always scaling up their own profits through money lending and qualifications for sacrifice which was imposed upon the people who came to offer homage to YHVH and seek the Blessings of God through the Traditional Temple Priesthoods which had been well established across Rome and throughout Roman territories at that time who accepted them within their streets and stations of commerce for the immense wealth they would readily bring back into the hands of the empire owing to their reputation as successful businessmen and traders, and which Rome happily supported and whose Religious Customs they provided for since they had become an integral part of the Roman economy and allowed the Empire to focus more upon warfare and expansion rather than local economies which they preferred to have them “run themselves” and so the presence of Jewish communities is across Roman territories allowed for just this to happen, and they maintained a mutually beneficial civil arrangement with the High Priests of Jewish Law (Torah) which lasted over many centuries.

Except that the Essenes did not take to these traditional views on the Law of Sacrifice and on the Temple Orders and Priest-Craft traditions common to their people, but rather upheld their own tradition of silent devotion and honest labor which was not the common Way for most men and women in those days any more than it was for the unfortunate victims of the assault upon early Pythagoreans nor do many people today practice anything near what was known by Pythagorean, the Old Egyptian Mysteries and their Schools, the Academic Philosophers of Plato’s Academy, nor the Essene Brotherhood of disciplined ascetics as history has confessed. And so it is not surprising that of the few stories pertaining to the early life of the Nazarene Master (who became “Christ”, the Annointed “Son of God” later in life) one of the most prominent accounts left in the Holy Bible is of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph’s journey to Egypt. Why exactly they would leave their homeland and travel so far seeking a foreign land and foreign customs is not 100% clear other than they were “seeking to escape Herod the Great’s slaughter of the baby boys in Bethlehem” as it is told in Matthew that King Harod had heard from one of his Priest that there was some “sign” or “prophecy” indicating that a “Messiah” would be borne amongst the Jews in Bethlehem who would later become a “Great King” and overthrow His own Throne, and so to prevent this terrible notion, he sought out to slaughter every potential candidate for such a “position” (as seems to be a common story whenever some holy man or prophet is scheduled to arrive within the domain of some great worldly power who always fears the loss of his own power and position and to secure his own Vanity and Self-Glory, commits some awful form of genocide thinking that this will somehow “solve the problem” and fend off the terrible news about “God’s Plan” to influence the minds of the people whom he enjoys ruling.

But nevertheless seeming to borrow off of many “Common Themes” and Common Stories contained within the various scriptures across many faiths and traditions, it still seems a mark of interest and intrigue that it is to Egypt that the “Holy Family” are immediately ready to retreat to, bearing in mind that they had just received a hefty donation of some “precious ointments, embalming resins, and precious metals (gold coin) from a group of Strange Wise Men from the East calling themselves “Magi” who were guided to the place of His birth by the Sign of some Star which they followed all the way across the countryside from their home Babylon (where “Magi” where known to dwell as the Priests of the Zoroastrian Fire Religion and bore the name “Mage” or “Magi” knowing the art of “Magick” (and Egyptian Art out of which Alchemy is said to have arisen, Magick being the art of causing “Change” to occur within Nature, and Alchemy being the transmutation of metals from form into another and thus a specialty branch of Magick itself).

They were also Astrologers, and spent many generations over centuries no less observing the Celestial Sky and its rotations and the patterns of the movable and immovable stars (he stars and planets) which they found useful in predicting events both before and after they were known to arise (knowing past and future) simply by understanding the cycles of Nature through steadfast observation of Nature over Time and in doing so, understanding “Frequencies” which are the basis of the study of Harmonics which was one of the seven “Liberal Arts and Sciences” as taught in both the Pythagorean and Platonic traditions alike. So here we have this great “Merger” of various Forms of Ancient Tradition which were all regarded with great “Secrecy” and were only ever taught to “The Few” who could understand and “digest” these things taking up a Way and Lifestyle which permitted them to study and observe these ancient sciences as well as discipline and improve oneself in Mind, Body, and Spirit over the course of many many years and under the guidance of those who had “gone this way before them” and Mastered or Perfected these arts and sciences to a degree to which they were considered worthy to teach others and pass forth the Ancient Mysteries in the form of Arts and Sciences unto the next generation who came seeking Light and were capable of the dedication required to succeed in these difficult practices prescribed to those who became lifelong Students of Nature and Her Secrets which ultimately were to lead one to the Salvation of the Soul and its Liberation from material bondage and from the material world forever by casting Light into the inner shade of the soul and through Knowledge of that which is eternal, one gains the Love of “Things which are Above” and that which is “Divine” and “True” and made to rest above and beyond “things which are below” and namely “False” (things of the world). So Like Pythagoras and Plato, Jesus too went to Egypt after first learning about the Spiritual Path and the Immortality of the Soul and its Divine Origin from His own parents who must have taught Him these things from a young age being initiates of the Essene Brotherhood and friends now of the Wise Priest-Kings of the Far East who blessed them with gifts considered very rare and valuable, and used for very specific rites and rituals evolving the embalming of the dead and the funeral rites and services which the Egyptians are well known to have some great obsession with and whose whole culture and civilization seems to have been geared around the “Preparation for Death” not only for the Pharoh (who was Himself considered a God, and His own Coffin and Sarcophagus was always well prepared under by the hand of Egypt’s finest craftsmen, woodworkers, and workers of precious metals no less, alongside having the worlds must culturally advanced methods of Masonry (skilled stone working ability) owing to the vast and limitless array of elegant stone temples, pyramids, tombs, and underground chambers which we know must have taken the Civilization thousands upon thousands of years to perfect and establish just in terms of building design and Architectual refinement as well as operative construction which boggles many architectural scholars even today as to how Egypt’s Architectual land map is even possible given today’s technology and no less the technology of the Ancients who build these structures and established their Mysteries keeping Secret the methods of their Work and the Nature of their Religions from any and all lest they be deemed highly worthy and approved upon by the Great Hierophants of the Nile who rarely approved of their own people’s ability to Rise Up within their Mysteries and their Degrees of Self-Perfection and Purification, and no less any foreigner, most of whom they did not trust even wandering the streets.

But yet, we have 3 initiates known as Masters in their times each of whom travelled to Egypt in their formative years and later taught the secrets of life after death (each according to their own method and design), yet the precepts remain the same across the board:

1. Eat a Simple Vegetarian Diet
2. 2. Practice Silence and Self-Reflection Daily and Devote yourself to Method of Self-Improvement throughout life.
3. 3. Earn your livelihood in honest endeavor, and perfect some skill or trade which will allow you to devotee your-self to some form of Work which will benefit yourself and society.
4. 3. Spend Long amounts of time in Silence, and deep reflection upon the Mysteries of Nature, guarding your thoughts.
5. 4. The Soul is Immortal and ultimately must Unite back with the Divine Source, God, the LOGOS, which is Harmonic and Beautiful and Good.
6. 5. Salvation is achieved through the Purification of the Soul from the limitations of the body, the mind, and the passions, and one may slowly “Learn to Die (daily)” by practicing some prescribed method of silent meditation for long amounts of time each day.
7. 6. The Soul is made of Light (Spirit) and lasts forever, so one must not commit any Dischord, injustice, or sin which might harm its True Nature and prevent its Progress towards Divinity, while the Body is made of 5 elements (of earthly nature) and is ultimately “false” (temporal)
8. 7. Since one is destined to die, it is best to give up the hope for success here in this material world and seek happiness in those things which are True and Eternal which will lead the Soul to towards a state of Deathlessness having spent one’s life longing for Truth and disregarding falsehood.
9. 8. Salvation is Achieved after Listening to the Teachings of the Master, taking their “initiation” and following their advice all throughout life so as to take best use of this precious life which is given in the form of Man (or woman) body which is the True “Temple” of God, and the Place where God Almighty dwells within as “Heavenly Music and Harmonic Frequency which is Perfect according to Heaven’s own Design and by Nature’s Blessed handicraft.
10. 9. Having attained “Liberation” (Salvation) the soul will never have to suffer the heavens or hells nor have to be borne below in a material body ever again.

It is said that after leaving Egypt (where He likely gained some form of Initiation and served the Temples there as He had already out schooled the Teachers in the Temples near the cities of his early life, and “astounded” them all at his Spiritual Apprehension and Direct Knowledge of the Scriptures and their meanings), He was then made to travel to India and Tibet and there are a number of Teachings which support this idea.

There are even sects of Tibetan Yogis and Buddhist Monks who dwell even today high up in the Himalayan Mountain Ranges who have preserved their Oral Traditions for many thousands of years through discipline succession as well as written form which is a Task assigned to one class of Bodhisattvas (monks / priests who are devoted to recording the scriptures, the names of the Mahatmas (Great Souls) who have passed through their temples and shrines in Holy Pilgrimage or on Holy Retreat, seeking refuge and spending time in meditation and solitude), and in both the Oral Traditions as well as a number of written records, there is the memory and legacy enshrined in their Traditions of a Great Soul who came from the west and sought their counsel and their Teachings that He may learn and grow in Wisdom and Understanding and bring those things back to His own people after perfecting His understanding of all things Spiritual and of the Path of the Bodhisattva (the World Savior who commits never to leave the Planarity Logos to enjoy Enlightenment until all other bound souls stuck in the cycle of birth and death (“Samsara”) have also been given Salvation and have thereto ended their cycle of Sin and Suffering so that there be no more suffering ever again neither here on earth, nor in the celestial skies where the angels (and devas) await their own Blessed Opportunity to attain a Human Birth so that they may learn the Inner Path of Truth which leads to Universal Salvation, Light, Love, Liberty and the True Life (of Eternal Happiness) for All Times to Come, and so that the Great Work of the Plan of Creation may be fulfilled, and all creatures, all souls who are immortal beings made of the Same Light of Divinity of which first was made to Descend into Creation as the Form of Absolute out of which All Light and All Souls are born and Cast and to which All Things within Nature and within Creation Herself must also Return.

FINAL NOTE:

During Almighty Lord Master Kirpal Singh Ji Maharaj’s World Tour in 1960 to Vatican City in Rome where in He Himself met with Pope John Paul alongside one of His Disciples who was a dear friend of one of my most Beloved Dear Sisters named Donna Jewell who is a Disciple of Master Kirpal (and she is even alive today reaching her 80's) as she was initiated by Him in the 1950's when she was but 19 years old, and she loved Him all her live and still does, also having followed His Beloved Son and successor Sant Ajaib Singh Ji Maharaj, as well as my own Beloved Master who is Perfect, and the Form of God Almighty Himself being Word Made Flesh as was Christ, Buddha, Socrates, Plato, and Pythagoras of Ancient Days; and so this Satsangi Brother of “Aunti Donna” who was also an initiate of Master Kirpal felt that since Master was there and the Pope standing beside Him, and looking up in great Wonder and admiration at the Face of the True Master, this brother initiate then asked the Pope (feeling most confident having the Master by his side) this question:

“What ever happened to all the Teachings of Jesus concerning the Vegetarian Diet and the abstinence of the eating of meat (flesh food) and the drinking of wine (intoxicants)?” …

The Master then immediately looked at his disciple with disapproving eyes as if to say that this may have sounded disrespectful to the Pope who was so gracious to have even taken the time to meet with us here to day and share our company for this brief time, for the question was rather bold if you may think about it (considering the church’s age old history to conceal rather than reveal the Truth of its own Scriptures, masking the teachings behind rites, rituals, and observations rather than dispensing openly the Knowledge of all of the writings and records which were removed from public access the moment they were retrieved (most of them) and stored in underground archives under lock and key for over 1,000 years or more at this point…

Still, Master always taught His disciples to treat everyone with the utmost love and respect, and so to challenge the Pope himself on one of the Church’s apparent misapprehension of sacred duties by concealing vital information about their most important historical figure, the Man Himself whom they Claimed to be God, and whom all must follow to gain Salvation may have been a bold memoir and a slight step out of the boundaries of loving courtesy which Master always upheld beyond measure no matter who it was He was made to meet….

So the disciple got “The Look of the Master” which always strikes the heart and makes one bow one’s head in humility.

But Gracious as they are and eager to have his disciples inquiry satisfied, He then looked at Pope John Paul, and He Himself said, “Well where is it?”

The Pope being in no position to “lie before God Himself” as his predecessors had apparently done by that point for 1,500 years on this matter and KNOWING THE TRUTH of this matter right from the beginning of its establishment, The Pope preferred to give an honest “explanation” as to the reason behind their decision NOT to inform their parishioners that Jesus Christ Himself practiced strict vegetarian diet (right from birth even) as well as strictly recommended and enforced this diet on ALL of HIs disciples whom He did initiate (grant Holy Baptism) as was part of His tradition and the Science behind the Faith of Salvation which He Taught in those days to the Jewish people (who were mostly unfamiliar with this “New” Teaching of Salvation through Grace and Devotion to WORD, even though it was known to the Essenes, He brought it to the masses which is why He was despised and brutally executed, as the worldly powers never like when the Sons of God interfere with their worldly designs).

And so the Pope said to our friend and to the Master (who already knows everything but pretends to be a man like us for our sake), “Yes of course, we have many writings about how Jesus taught these things to His people, but these writings lie outside of the grasp of public consumption, and so rather than lose many members of our Church who would likely leave the church and turn away from God entirely if we tried to impose strict forms of diet or restrictions upon their worldly enjoyments, tastes, and pleasures which most are not ready to give up even if we asked them to, we felt it best to give out the Teachings of Jesus ‘little by little’ so that the people can take ‘baby steps’ towards their Salvation which we are simply here to assist them with in whatever way we are able to do.”

And what a response that was!! Everyone was satisfied, because an important question was asked (which may have during another time been an extremely DANGEROUS question to ask a man of High Office within the Vatican, as they always have upheld themselves as the supreme authority over all matters worldly AND spiritual, this gave everyone an opportunity to have an honest and enlightening conversation which clarified (by Master’s Grace) 2000 years of confusion and misunderstanding in a single moment.

So yes, Pope John Paul explained very clearly and explicitly that Jesus Christ was in fact a vegetarian, the church has ALWAYS known of this, they have many supporting documents in their archives which explain exactly this and why, as well as His position on the taking of meat and intoxicants (which is essentially that these things turn the Temple of God into a Graveyard, and make a place of light and life a place of death and suffering and ultimately… Darkness).

So there you have it…

JESUS WAS A VEGETARIAN!!
